1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how IceNex Tools handles information when you visit and use our online utilities available at icenex.io and its related subdomains.
IceNex Tools provides browser-based utilities for developers, IT professionals and technology users, including tools for JSON, Base64, UUIDs, JWTs, regular expressions, networks, browsers, devices and time conversion.
2. Information entered into the tools
Many IceNex Tools utilities are designed to process information locally in your browser. Examples include the JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder and Decoder, UUID Generator, JWT Decoder, Regex Tester, timestamp converters, CIDR and subnet calculators, and browser or device information tools.
For these browser-based tools, the information entered into the tool is processed by the page in your browser and is not intentionally sent to an IceNex Tools server for storage or processing. Results may remain in the browser until you clear them, close the page or remove the relevant browser data.
Do not enter passwords, private keys, access tokens, financial data or other confidential information into any online tool unless you have determined that doing so is appropriate.
3. External services and network tools
Some functionality may require a request to an external service. For example, the IP Address Checker may contact a third-party IP detection service to determine the public IP address visible to that service.
When an external service is used, that service may receive technical information necessary to answer the request, such as an IP address, request metadata and information contained in the request. The external provider controls its own processing and privacy practices. Please review the provider's privacy policy when using a feature that depends on an external service.
4. Technical data and the Blogger platform
The website is delivered through third-party hosting and publishing infrastructure, including the Blogger platform and related Google services. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, referring page and security or performance data in order to deliver, protect and maintain the website.
IceNex Tools does not intentionally sell personal information. Technical data may nevertheless be processed by service providers that operate the hosting, security, publishing, analytics or advertising features used by the website.
5. Cookies and advertising
IceNex Tools and its service providers may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, performance, preferences, audience measurement and advertising.
IceNex Tools plans to use Google AdSense. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show, measure and limit advertising, including personalized or non-personalized advertising where applicable. The availability of personalization and consent choices may depend on your location, browser settings and the consent mechanism provided on the website.

6. Analytics and third-party services
IceNex Tools does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or another separate analytics platform to collect usage statistics. This may change in the future if an analytics service becomes necessary to understand performance, identify technical problems or improve the tools. If that happens, this policy will be updated to identify the service and explain its relevant data practices.
Other third-party providers may process information according to their own policies and terms when their services are used by a specific tool or website feature. Their processing is not controlled by IceNex Tools.
7. Information sent to us
If you contact IceNex Tools by email, we may receive your email address, name if provided, the content of your message, attachments and any other information that you choose to include.
We use this information to respond to requests, provide support, investigate reported problems, consider suggestions and improve the website. We do not use contact messages for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis or permission.
Contact messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, document support, resolve an issue or comply with legal and security obligations. Messages may also remain in the systems of the email provider used to send or receive them, subject to that provider's policies.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the website to help protect information handled through the service. However, no website, transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
IceNex Tools is a general-purpose technology website and is not directed specifically toward children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the website, please contact us so that the situation can be reviewed.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may control cookies through your browser, clear data entered into the tools, and choose not to provide information through email. Depending on applicable law, you may also contact us to ask about personal information associated with a communication you sent to IceNex Tools.
